For us to proceed with a furniture project, we have established the following production process:
- The customer provides technical specifications (surface finish, material specification, etc.) and drawings of the product to be manufactured. Additional materials such as photographs or actual samples of the furniture parts are appreciated and will help sampling lead times. Electronic drawings sent by email are preferred and will also reduce lead times.
- The customer is sent a quotation for the production of a sample and tooling (if necessary) as well as a quotation for production of a customer specified minimum order quantity (MOQ).
- NUBE Furniture will arrange logistics for delivery of the produced sample (air freight) to the client if needed.
- Upon confirmation of the sample, NUBE Furniture will then produce the specified production run and arrange for transport of product to a port specified by the client.
- On arrival of the finished furniture products to the specified port, the client will be responsible for customs clearance and in-land transportation from this point on.
Other useful information
- Drawing files should be in AutoCAD; .DWG format or in Adobe Acrobat; .PDF format. 3D models are also acceptable in .DXF, .IGS, Solidworks, etc.
- Production time: 3-6 weeks (depending on order quantity), Chinese customs clearance: 1 week, Ocean freight time to Europe: approx. 4 weeks.
